Finike, formerly Phoenicus, is located on the south of the Teke peninsula. Finike was a trading port in the capital city of Lycia. There are many historical sites to see including : The ruins of Limyra, the ancient city of Arycanda, the ruins of Trysa with a carved frieze depicting Theseus, on the road to Kas, and the wreck of a Phoenician merchant ship from about 1200 BC in Cape Gelidonya. Finike Setur Marina is an excellent marina with immaculate showers.
Kemer, formerly Idyros, is the only stop between Finike and Antalya. The marina has 320 berths and is a popular marina for yachts to spend the winter in.
Antalya is a huge international resort, host to several luxurious hotels including a 7 star hotel, many spectacular golf courses and historical sites. The city includes sites with traces of Lycian, Pamphylian, and Hellenistic - but mainly Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman - architecture and cultures.
